BEHIND THE CANVAS

 

Tom Steck is a painter from San Jose, California. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Graphic Design from Biola University and a Bachelor’s of Illustration from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Tom worked in the entertainment industry as a storyboard artist, muralist, and prop painter for various commercials and films. He has won awards as a editorial illustrator. As a fine artist, Tom has had numerous shows in museums and galleries, as well solo shows. In 2007, one of his paintings was acquired by the Pasadena Museum of History in Pasadena, California, as a first place prize.
